The Mad March Jugs competition is a pairs Stableford competition played with a yellow ball counting double. The yellow ball is alternated between players on each hole with the “owner” able to score double points with it.
For the pairs competition the combined stableford score on each hole will count. NB: Player 1 has been nominated to have the yellow ball on the first hole scores 1 stableford point (the ball is not lost) so that players score doubles to 2 points. Their partner plays a blinder and gets 3 points with their normal chosen ball, so just their single score counts on that hole. The team score would be 5 points on that hole. I hope that is clear if not please ask.
