Crimewave hits Eastbourne Down
On a dry, sometimes bright but breezy day, 20 golfers enjoyed a course in excellent condition.
Unfortunately, the MGS serial bandit struck again at Eastbourne Downs. Rob Montagu won again, despite a hefty handicap cut after his win at Lewes the month before. He stands accused of trying to steal the Player Of The Year prize before the Summer has arrived. Just a couple more average rounds would probably be enough to give him an unbeatable four round total.
In a frenzied post match media interview, Rob was quoted as saying:
“It has always been my dream to play off a single figure handicap and would like to thank my fellow athletes for turning up and supporting me in my quest for complete golfing dominance”

Very well done to Rob and the rest of the field for at least turning up.
