Details of our next meeting are as follows:

We are returning to one of our favourite chalkland courses to start the New Year. I asked the club how many days they had been closed in the last 2 months due to the wet weather and the answer was none! I can’t guarantee the weather we will enjoy on the day but you can be reasonably certain they will not close the course. Perfect for those going stir crazy or those fed up with playing out of wet mud. The usual format of coffee and bacon roll from 09.00, golf from 10.00 and post golf steak and ale pie.

I have to advise numbers on 15th January so please confirm if you want to be included before then, and transfer the money to the MGS account in the usual way. You can confirm by simplying replying to this email. Please do not reply to my personal email (or David’s) or use “reply all” which would bombard everyone with your message. Let me know of any dietary requirements. We have 5 tee times booked so the earlier you confirm the better. If you know you cannot make it, that too would be good to know. 

James has asked me to point out that this year’s annual subscription of £30 is payable. He has also provided a list of those with credits from the abandoned Dewlands golf which can be used to offset payments for Lewes or annual subs.
