Gentlemen

 

For our penultimate meeting of the year, I’m pleased to be inviting this illustrious group of golfers to my home club of Lamberhurst where we shall be playing for the GBH Cup – a pairs competition awarded to best overall stableford score. The course has been in great condition all year, so barring any sudden change of weather or course maintenance action you can look forward to a very well presented track. We also have new caterers just in place.

Time:      9:30 for first tee off 10:30

Format:  Tea/coffee + bacon rolls on arrival, 18 holes Stableford pairs competition for the GBH Trophy, 2 course meal to finish. Dress smart casual for dinner, inc jackets

Cost:      £46 per head

Older members will be pleased to know that one of the Society’s veterans, Peter Sugg will be joining us. Peter is now a very active 82, and still a member at Lamberhurst. Peter will be using a buggy, so if anyone wants to share with him please let me know.

 

Looking forward to a good turnout at a top course (OK, I may be a bit biased), so do come along, and let’s just hope Capn Cudders doesn’t bring a load of West Country rain with him when he comes back up this way from exile.
