Captain Kevin warmly welcomes you to this Captain’s Day Event at Sweetwoods. As well as individual and team competitions, Kev is showering you with prizes including one for best total individual stableford score on the par 3s. And every par 3 has a nearest the pin prize. There is even a rumour he may allow gimmees for one event this year – is this is the one?
Sweetwoods, a Par 72, 18 Hole Parkland course which forces you to consider every shot. Dramatic tee shots, challenging approaches and fast, undulating greens makes the course both challenging and memorable. Rated as one of Sussex’s best courses set amidst the stunning woodland landscape and a number of natural lakes on 9 of the 18 Holes, it offers a test to players of all abilities.

Format: Tea/coffee + bacon rolls on arrival, 18-hole individual Stableford for the Freddy Jones Foundation Cup with a one course meal to finish
A very good turnout of 24 players will competing for the Freddie Jones Foundation Cup (Captains Day) currently held by Micky Mann.
Competitions:

| 18-hole individual stableford competition off full society handicaps. In addition the highest individual total score on the par 3s wins a prize. NB: As this is a trophy event please putt out – no gimmies – sorry. |
| Team competition: with 6 four balls, the total stableford score for each team will comprise the best 2 scores on par 5’s, the best 3 scores on par 4’s and for the par 3’s all scores count. In addition, teams can play a joker on a hole of their choosing nominated beforehand. The joker doubles the team score on the nominated hole. |
| Nearest the Pin: All par 3’s and NTP in 2 on Hole 10. |
