Following the washout that was April’s meeting, and the complete loss of January, we’re clearly hoping for better things for the May meeting.  As I write this snow is falling elsewhere in the country, so anything’s possible! The weather for the very enjoyable Spring Tour was excellent, so maybe that’s a good sign…

Time:    11am for first tee off 12 noon

Format:  Tea/coffee + bacon rolls on arrival, 18 hole stableford competition, 2 course meal to finish. Dress for meal: smart casual.

Cost:       £42 per head

Please note the date, 13 May, carefully. It’s not the 3rd Friday of the month, as has become the norm, but it is the date we’ve had posted on the website since the start of the year, so hopefully members have it in their diaries. Given virtually all committee members are unavailable for the 20th, had we arranged it for then it might well have been a rather rudderless gathering!

We’ve had good turnouts so far this year, notwithstanding the elements, so look forward to seeing lots of members at Woldingham.
