Time: 10am meet for first tee time 11am
Format: Tea/coffee + bacon rolls on arrival, 18 holes Stableford competition, 2 course meal to conclude the day. Dress for meal smart casual
Cost: £34 per head

We have chosen a course on the Downs in the hope that we will be able to play on one which drains well, so fingers crossed! Also one we haven’t been to for a while, so somewhere different. The course was designed by JH Taylor, and has hosted the Amateur Open, and recently the EGU National Amateur Championships.

It would be great to get a good turnout to start the new year, so do please join in and let’s blow those January blues away (you can likely blow lots of things away up there). Please confirm your attendance through the link below by12:00 Monday 18 Jan, and transfer the money to Treasurer Tips in the MGS account.

SUBS: It’s that time of year, so would all members also please remit the annual subscription of £30. Our recently retired Hon Sec has reminded me that this has been unchanged since the days when Gordon Brown was at the Treasury. On balance, I think we’re probably better off with Tips leading the MGS Exchequer (even after a few glasses of his renowned vin rouge).
