The weather forecast looks a little “iffy” for Friday but fingers crossed the weather forecast suggests we have a decent chance of getting away with it and keeping dry.  Personally very much looking forward to this one as the societies first visit to Kings Hill from memory which has had glowing reports from several members who have already played it.  Should be fun.

A good turnout of 22 this month which is pleasing as we are firmly into the Autumn weather wise.  

The course architect, David Williams, made excellent use of the natural features and gently undulating topography to create a course that has quickly established itself as one of the best golfing challenges in Kent. The course is characterised by traditional links turf, carries over heather and rough to narrow, fast running fairways and beautifully sculptured greens full of character and deceptive slopes.

Order of play

Tee times start at 11am – please be at the tee and ready to go 5 mins before your tee off time.  Please keep up with the team in front and not aim to be just ahead of the group behind – Please do avoid slow play at all times – we should complete our rounds comfortably within 4½ hours.
