Sunny days are hear again at Dale Hill
After months of lockdown it was fantastic to finally get out back on the course with our first outing of 2021 to Dale Hill. The weather was glorious, if a tad chilly, but with a compliment of 18 players, it proved to be an enjoyable day with the added pleasure of sharing a beer for the first time since I don't know when!
Judging by some scores there was possibly a hint of rustiness which was probably exacerbated by a course like the Woosnam. The greens were not at their best, having recently been hollow tined but there appeared to still be some smiles at the end . . . or was that because of the availability of beer!
. . . and so for the results, with special thanks to Mr Chris Buck for his cross referencing in checking the cards.
At this point, I do feel I should reassure members,
. . . that just because I was in charge of the cards for the day, the following results are a true record of what actually happened and any hint of bias or dodgy dealings are purely cooincidental

Important message:
Due again to the Micheal Mann book of Handicap Rules and Etiquette, I am unable to fathom the in depth logarithms required to adjust the Handicaps so will await his lordships return from his 'essential' holiday to do the necessary, and to whom any complaints about the day you have just experienced should be sent.
So, on to next month
All being well we should be back at Copthorne. For various reasons this fixture has been cancelled or postponed for the last three years, so fingers crossed we get the go ahead this time.
Put May 21 in your diary.
