Kicking off the New Year at Pyecombe
Happy New Year to all members. Hope you had a good festive period, and are ready for the challenges of 2017, both on and off the golf course.
To get the MGS year underway, join us this month at an old favourite course of the society, one which drains well, so is best suited to this time of year. Details of our January meeting are as follows:

Time: 09:30 for 10:30 first tee off
Format: Tea/coffee + bacon rolls on arrival, 18 hole Stableford competition. One course meal to finish. Dress for meal: smart casual.
Cost: £42 per head
Please confirm your attendance by email to bookings@mayfieldgolfingsociety.com by close of business Mon 16 Jan latest, and transfer your payment to the MGS account in the usual way. We had some difficulties last year in identifying payments, as Andy Tippett outlined at the AGM, so please always use the meeting reference when completing the transfer, in this case Pycombe 2017.
2017 Captain Jerry is promising us better weather than that provided by his predecessor, who was last heard of in hiding in South Devon, so we expect a dry start to our new season.
