After a very enjoyable day out at Cooden Beach in July, this month we head in a different direction, and to a course which I think will be new to many members. Details follow:

Time:    13:45 for first tee off 14:45
Format:  Tea/coffee + bacon rolls on arrival, 18 hole medal for the Society Strokeplay Championship (lower handicaps) and 18 hole stableford competition for the Society Stableford Championship (higher handicaps), 2 course meal to finish. Dress for meal: smart casual.
Cost:       £44 per head

This is a late tee off, to allow members who still have to work for a living to get a half day in, and for the others amongst us to mow our lawns. There are two trophies up for grabs this month, as you can see. Your

Handicap Sec will advise the handicap bandings for each cup when the draw is published.

Given the name of our venue, maybe our Captain can treat us to a rendition of I Remember You-hoo after dinner…….
