James Gallifant romps home to secure emphatic win on a windy and misty day at East Brighton

18th February 2023

An excellent number of 21 hardy players turned out for our visit to East Brighton – must be close to a record for a February meeting. However the initial enthusiasm was somewhat tempered by the wind which was severe enough for oscillating balls, flying score cards and all the pin flags being tied down. By…

East Brighton draw

15th February 2023

After our successful outing at Eastbourne Downs in January we travel a few miles down the coast to Brighton to again play on a well drained chalk based course.  We look forward to seeing you on Friday with again a good turnout of 21 for a cold February day on the coast.  A war welcome to James…

Draw for Eastbourne Downs

18th January 2023

Happy New Year.  We look forward to seeing you on Friday with a decent turnout for a cold January day on the coast.  The good news is the course is built on chalk so despite the recent rain and floods should be relatively dry ! High on a plateau of the South Downs behind Beachy Head, the…

Below are details of our opening event for the year, which unsurprisingly takes us to the well drained – if occasionally breezy – South Downs: Venue:  Eastbourne Downs Golf Club,…
