Spring Greetings to all members!  March is here, days are lengthening, the sap’s rising, and hopefully golf courses throughout the area are finally drying out. It’s a measure of how wet it’s been that even a downland course like Eastbourne Downs was still the worse for water last month.

Time:    11am meet for first tee time 12 noon
Format: Tea/coffee + bacon rolls on arrival, 18 hole Mad March Jugs  competition, played in pairs drawn on the day. 2 course meal to conclude. Dress for meal smart casual
Cost:      £42 per head

We’re sticking with a downland course again this month, to improve our chances of playing a course that drains well. So fingers crossed.

REMINDER: Webmeister Jerry is still waiting for some contact details for updating our records, and should you by any remote chance have not paid your subs, be advised to do so quickly lest Chancellor Osbourne grabs you by the fiscals in his Budget on 16 March, just 3 days before we meet. You have been warned!

We had a very healthy turnout of 19 in February, so here’s to another good showing this time. Make it an even number though, please, as it’s pairs!
