Dale Hill order of play – update 15/4

Just so you know . . .

The bars and restaurants are still shut so coffees and rolls will be taken outside to the rear of the building past the pro shop and to the right.  Table and chairs have been set up here where, all being well, we will be able to partake in a beer post round.

There is also a buggy going around each course selling snacks and drinks but is by contactless payment methods only.

Please double check your start time as we have had a couple of withdrawls.

Enjoy!

We are pleased to return to some form of normality with our first MGS outing since October 2020. Captain James is so excited that he has being polishing his clubs for weeks and is unlikely to sleep the night before.  It would be good to see everyone and swap lockdown experiences, socially distanced of course.  I was considering sending members out in groups that have managed to get a proper haircut this week, those that have not and those that do not need to bother!!   Anyway, it will be great to see everyone.

IMPORTANT: Please note we must strictly observe the government guidance which is legally enforceable as follows:

  1. To wear face masks in all communal areas whilst at our society meetings for the foreseeable future. Please bring a mask and some hand sanitiser!
  2. The second is the rule of 6. We must not gather in groups larger than 6.

We urge all society members to adhere to these rules and keep to the same playing group as much as possible throughout the day.

The Ian Woosnam Course was constructed in 1995 and opened in 1997. The course has gained the reputation as being one of the finest courses in the South East. Designed by the former Masters and Ryder cup Captain, the Ian Woosnam course covers nearly 200 acres of beautiful Sussex countryside. Constructed to USGA Specifications, the greens provide excellent putting surfaces all year around. The course has a par of 71 for both men and ladies and starts with a 602-yard par 5 to wet your appetite. Once reaching the 5th hole the course opens up and the views are spectacular.
