The final meeting of the year will be held on

This is our traditional ‘fun Christmas Doo’ with 18 holes of golf to be followed by the AGM and festive drinks and the usual high standard meal at THE MIDDLE HOUSE HOTEL , MAYFIELD.

FORMAT: Meet at 7.45 for coffee / tea followed by 9 holes of Texas Scramble, thence Bacon Rolls, followed by 9 holes of Team and Individual Stableford Golf. The Individual winner collects The Last Chance Trophy as the final piece of silverware to be won in the year! As usual, in order to share the prizes no one team can win both competitions !

There will be LD & NP competitions + festive hat / jumper competitions with the Captains’ decision final!

PLEASE NOTE: ACTUAL STARTING TIMES WILL DEPEND ON THE NUMBER OF ENTRIES. THE DRAW FOR PLAYING PARTNERS AND START TIMES WILL BE PUBLISHED ON THE WEBSITE.

AGM will start at 2.45 pm promptly with the meal served at 3.30 pm.

PRICE: £40.00 – a real bargain!

Wine will be available for consumption with the meal from our resident sommelier Monsieur Le Teepster for £10.00 per bottle by kind permission of the management who will collect a corkage charge from the society. This way it is still cheaper and will allow a higher class of wine.

The November meet at Willingdon Golf Club was played with the intervention of Tropical Storm “Abigail” but it didn’t stop the winning team of Alan Bond & Andy Bishop lifting the G B H Trophy! Well played in poor conditions lads!  Fortunately, the excellent catering staff served us a super heartwarming meal to make up for the soaking we all endured.
