Kelvin Paterson wins the Last Chance Trophy on count back with four players finishing and tied on 19 points.
The “Christmas Fun Event” at Dewlands Manor saw 24 players battle it out for the various prizes. The weather was very cold with the greens being more white than green and as hard as concrete! The average stableford score in the individual competition was a good 14.28 points.
An early morning start for all with a packed and tight day ahead with a Christmas meal scheduled for 2.30 om followed by the AGM. A big thank you to Mr Chris Buck who looked after the scoring for the day verifying every card with a microscope. The morning commenced with a Texas Scramble team event

Afternoon team competition. Pretty obvious that a team including first and second above is probably in pole position. Even vice-captain elect James the third member of the team could prevent a win by 4 pts over the rest of the field.

A special mention goes to Mark Hughes for being a great sport and wearing his very festive chicken body suit around the course – very entertaining!
